Western Veterinary Clinic opened in 1979 by Dr. Martin Langhofer to serve the needs of pets and their owners in the Michiana community. Our mission has always been to serve the Creator and our community by giving excellent veterinary care to all God's creatures, great and small. The emphasis has been with companion animals serving a wide variety of species.

A large addition was built onto the clinic in 1987 along with remodeling of the existing structure that expanded the ability of the clinic. A devastating fire destroyed the clinic in 1993. Rebuilding on the same foundation the clinic continued to strive for excellence in serving the community.

The clinic is a full service clinic doing routine veterinary care, grooming, along with sophisticated surgery and treatment on major illness. The emphasis on thorough diagnostics and a caring environment has resulted in many satisfied clients. We strive for professionalism among the staff, cleanliness of the facility, along with scientific professional care of the patients we take care of.
