Welcome to the WVC On-line Equine Center. It is our intention to provide a wealth of information regarding equine health, to answer any questions you might have and to describe what services we can offer to enhance and protect the health of your horse.

Our two equine doctors are Dr. Marty Langhofer and Dr. Chris Persing. In 1989 Western Veterinary Clinic expanded its facility and now provides full service for your equine needs. The climate-controlled operating room provides cleanliness and comfort not afforded out on the field and our fully padded surgery recovery room enables us to perform routine and extra-ordinary surgical procedures.

In recent years we have greatly expanded our diagnostic capabilities. Endoscopy has become commonplace as we see more horses with throat and esophageal irritation. Ultrasound is another visual diagnostic tool we greatly utilize particularly during the breeding season. Laboratory blood and biopsy testing continues to advance to give a better health picture. Through Equine Power Dentistry the horse can be given pain relief and beter function.
