It is imperative to have routine cleaning for your pet’s teeth in order to prevent gum (periodontal) disease. If you notice any of the symptoms of gum disease in your dog or cat, it is especially important for you to schedule an appointment with one of our doctors before the problem becomes life-threatening. Excessive salivation, bad breath, red and inflamed gums, visible tartar, loose or missing teeth, or a decrease in appetite and weight loss are all signs that your pet’s teeth need immediate attention. Your pet can usually be dropped off in the morning and picked up in the afternoon of the same day. At Western Veterinary Clinic we do a professional 12-step cleaning for safe and detailed dental cleaning. We are a member of the American Veterinary Dental Society.
