What is the Pet Health Club and how does is work?
The Pet Health Club provides your pets with the best care they deserve at a discounted price. Your pet becomes a member of the club, and they have an exclusive membership with us. You have the option of paying for one year of membership in full or by the month through your checking or saving account with the Direct Payment Program.
Which membership level should I choose for my dog?
If your pet is a puppy (younger than one year of age), we offer the Puppy Club. If your pet is over 1 year old, we recommend one of the Adult Clubs. When your pet comes for a wellness examination, the doctor will go over plan specifications and recommendations with you to see which plan would be the best for your pet.
Which membership level should I choose for my cat?
If your pet is a kitten (younger than one year of age), we offer the Kitten Club. If your pet is over 1 year old, we recommend one of the Adult Clubs. When your pet comes for a wellness examination the doctor will go over plan specifications and recommendations with you to see which plan would be the best for your pet.
Why should I choose the Pet Health Club?
We are committed to do whatever we can to help your pets stay healthy. The Pet Health Club is a way for our clients to affordably provide the best care possible for their pet. For example, the various laboratory tests allow the doctors to see what is going on inside your pet’s body. If your pet is healthy, having the baseline tests done makes it much easier to determine what is abnormal for that pet should they become ill in the future.

Direct Payment Program

How does the monthly payment work?
The payment will be debited from a checking or savings account or credit card on the 10th of each month. To participate in the Direct Payment Program, please fill out the form provided here or ask a staff member for assistance. There is a one-time enrollment fee for clients who wish to use the Direct Payment Program.
What do I need to pay the first visit if I enroll in the Direct Payment Program?
For clients that wish to join the Direct Payment Program they need to pay the one-time enrollment fee of $60 and the first month payment of the plan of their choosing.
When will my account be debited with the Direct Payment Program?
Payment will be debited the next calendar month starting on the 10th. For example, if you purchased membership on October 20th, the direct payment program would start the next calendar month on November 10th.
Do I need to pay the enrollment fee if I pay the membership in total?
If you pay in full you do not have to pay the enrollment fee.
Do I pay an enrollment fee for each pet I add to the Pet Health Club?
It is just a one-time fee. If you decide to renew the Pet Health Club or add another pet, there will not be another enrollment fee.

Club Member Discount

Are there club discounts and when do I pay for other services or products?
Gold Club members receive 10% off flea and heartworm medication. They also receive a 3% off discount for services and medications. Platinum Club members receive a 20% off discount on heartworm and flea products. They also have a 5% off discount for all the services and medications. All services (not included in the club plan) and medications must be paid for at the time they are performed. Services excluded from the discounts are boarding, grooming, and pet food.
Can I apply a discount to the purchase of a Club Membership? For example, I have a Care-to-Share Card.
Because the services are already greatly discounted we are unable to allow discounts on the purchase of Pet Health Club Memberships. This includes Care-To-Share and senior discounts. Gift cards are ok to use on the purchase of a Pet Health Club Membership.
I see that the discounts for the Gold and Platinum Clubs are 3% and 5% on services and medication. Am I able to use a senior discount on top of those discounts?
Membership discounts are not valid with other discounts. If you are a senior, we will honor the senior citizen discount of 10%.
What can I use the Gold & Platinum Club discounts on?
You can use it for any medical services performed on your pet which are not included in your membership plan. You also may use the discounts on any medication. Boarding, grooming, and pet food are not included in the discount.

Membership & Cancellation Issues

Can I cancel my pet’s membership anytime?
Your pet’s membership provides you with a wellness plan at a discount price. Membership may be canceled with a one-month notice. However, memberships are valid for one year. If membership is cancelled before the end of the year (from signup or reenrollment), you are responsible for the remaining payments for that year or you may pay full price for services and discounts used during membership. There will also be a 15% cancellation fee, except for the event of pet demise. The enrollment fee is non-refundable.
What if I cancel my membership, then change my mind? Will I be charged an enrollment fee?
If plan is cancelled at renewal there is a seven (7) day grace period that enrollment fee may be waived upon reenrollment.
Can I transfer the membership to another pet?
Memberships are non-transferable, however there will not be another enrollment fee if you decide to add another pet to the Pet Health Club.
What happens if my pet passes before the membership is over?
If a pet passes before the membership is over, all the services performed would be calculated at full client price, and a 20% discount would be applied. If there is a balance left on your account, you may choose to continue to pay monthly or make a one-time payment for the procedures performed. If you have a credit on your account, you may choose to leave that on the account and use it later on a different pet or after 30 days, we will send a refund. There is no termination fee if your pet passes; however, the enrollment fee is non-refundable.
What if I miss a booster appointment?
All levels of the Pet Health Club include all the vaccines that are available for the pet; the booster vaccines are also included if they are needed. If you miss the booster appointment (greater than three weeks), we will have to start the vaccines all over again and you will have to pay the regular price for the boosters.
Does the dental cleaning include extractions?
The dental cleaning does not include extractions, dental x-rays, or medications if needed.
Is the Pet Health Club an insurance plan?
The Pet Health Club is a wellness plan.
