All programs and meetings will be held at Western Veterinary Clinic, 25190 State Rd. #2, South Bend, IN, on Monday evenings at 6pm sharp and will be done promptly at 8pm. Families need to enroll in 4-H online by going to this website before the first meeting night:
The cost of $15 enrolls the student in the state program. They will then be contacted by their township or club coordinator to educate the family on additional opportunities for projects in 4-H. 4-H members enrolled in Vet Science are encouraged to purchase a 4-H manual on Vet Science for $5.50, which can be purchased the first evening. If students are enrolling at the same level, they can use their book from last year. There will be a variety of animal related topics for each night and guest speakers from the community will be presenting. The goal of the program is to introduce students to careers in veterinary medicine and working with animals in general, both large and small.
Students are encouraged to present a project at the 4-H Fair June 28 thru July 6 and they will be educated on expectations and ideas for the project. In order to exhibit a project at the fair, all students need to be enrolled in 4-H by March 1, 2019!
