Dr. Langhofer received his Bachelors of Science in 1973 and his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Kansas State University in 1975.
In over thirty years of veterinary practice he has received various awards including the 2001 Indiana Veterinarian of the Year Award. Dr. Langhofer has traveled to various foreign countries with Christian Veterinary Missions. He has given seminars in six European Veterinary Schools and three veterinary schools in the United States. In 2009 Dr. Langhofer received the Alumni Recognition Award from the Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine and its Veterinary Medical Alumni Association at the Central Veterinary Conference in Kansas City, Mo.
He has given multiple lectures through the United States on horse dentistry. Dr. Langhofer is currently the 4-H Veterinary Science leader in his county and has directed this project for over twenty years. He has a love for all animals with special interests in equine dentistry and laparoscopic surgery.
